In 2019 during a trip to Western New York I had the opportunity to visit PLAY/GROUND, a platform for site-specific installations by contemporary artists, at a former high school in the village of Medina, NY. For its second edition, the organizers invited artists both from and outside the region to create immersive art projects and installations transforming the rooms and hallways into a multi-sensory experience for visitors.
