In the United States, community-driven photo archives have grown in popularity, particularly in social media, in the last five years. To name a few of these initiatives around the country one can find Instagram accounts such as Korean Archives in DC, Cambodian Archives in Los Angeles, and, perhaps one of the most successful, Veteranas y Rucas, run by archivist and visual artist Guadalupe Rosales.
